Internet Access

Academic Buildings

Wireless
The unsecured wireless network requires no configuration or authentication and allows visitors basic access to the Internet. Information transmitted or received over ICAirnet is not encrypted and could be intercepted and viewed by other network users.
To use ICAirnet:
  • Choose ICAirnet from the list of available wireless networks
  • Enter an e-mail address
  • Proceed unsecured (setting up a secure connection requires the visitor to have a GuestNet account created by an Ithaca College faculty or staff sponsor)

Cabled Access
For cabled access to the internet at the conference you must register your computer.
Website for information: http://ithaca.edu/its/services/guest/
To register computer for internet: http://www.geogebra-na2010.org/home/internet-registration

Please be sure to register your computer prior to the event, by at least Thursday July 22nd. You will receive a confirmation within a few business days.

Residential Buildings

Our residential buildings are also equipped with free wireless and cable services. Unfortunately the college dorms run on a different system than our academic buildings. All participants will receive a username and password in the conference folder. This can be provided earlier if requested.

We encourage you to bring your own Ethernet (LAN) cable, but we will have some spares on hand.
